Keeping St. Petersburg Homes Cool Since 1983

Indoor Air Quality Services in St. Petersburg, FL

It's often assumed that outdoor air is the problem, but in St. Petersburg, the air inside your home can be worse.

St. Petersburg averages over 74% relative humidity year-round. Throw in coastal air, Gulf red tide seasons, and an HVAC system that almost never gets a break. The air inside your home is working against you in ways that aren't always visible.

Older neighborhoods like Kenwood and Old Northeast often have ductwork that has spent decades collecting dust, mold spores, and allergens. St. Pete winters stay mild, so systems run nearly nonstop, filters clog faster, and pollutants circulate far more than they would in cooler climates.

There's a number of solutions for your home or business that E&E Gliddon can help with.

Air Quality Testing

Before spending money on filters, purifiers, or duct cleaning, you should know what's actually in your air. Our technicians test, document , and walk you through the results so you get a clear picture of what you're dealing with. That transparency is something our customers bring up again and again, and it starts right here.

Air Filter Replacement

St. Pete's oak pollen, salty air, and year round HVAC system use push your filter harder than any national average accounts for. Replacing it every 30 to 60 days is normal here. Three months is too long.

Filter rating matters just as much as frequency. A filter that's too restrictive strains your system, while one that's too loose lets junk pass right through. A better filter, changed on the right schedule, is the simplest thing you can do for your home and your health.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This company installed our air conditioner and did new duct work. They were absolutely super! The first night they brought a portable room air conditioner and hooked it up so we would have some air to sleep! They were very professional! All of the employees, from the lady at the office that would contact us, to all the installation employees, were so polite! We will recommend this company to anyone looking for Air-conditioning work! They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of! Can’t say enough about this company!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a terrific experience with Flogert! I called to get an estimate for duct cleaning. He inspected the ducts inside my home and said the problem I was having was not because of the inside ducts but most likely the outside unit needed to be cleaned. He took off a couple of the panels and showed me what the problem was. Flogert was a pleasure to work with!
